I have no picture.

My great great grandfather Adam was born about 1813 (based on census records) in Galka to Johann Gottfried and Eva Dahlinger.

I know very little about him. Russian census records tell me how old he was, give me the name of his wife, Maria Sibilla, and the names of most of his children. His household is listed in the 1857 Rosenberg census with no wife and lots of children. He is listed as having died in 1855 and no one else is designated as household Head. So he must have moved his family to Rosenburg from Galka and died almost immediately just about three years after the birth of his youngest child. Since he lived virtually all his life in Galka, it is highly likely that he was a farmer.

I have visited Galka, but found almost no markers left in the cemetery and none for him.
